Amy McKnight is a British composer working across television, film, and advertising. Her recent work includes scoring all 40 episodes of the BBC drama Phoenix Rise, Netflix’s Rebel Cheer Squad, Channel 4’s award-winning documentary Equal Play, and contributions to Tyler Perry’s Sistas on BET. She also composed the score for Earthbound, winner of Best Feature at the 2022 Tribeca Film Festival, and created original sound design for The Wave, a short film directed by Mahaneela with creative direction from Oscar-winner Steve McQueen.

Beyond screen composition, Amy has written bespoke music for brands including Samsung, Doordash, Nike, Puma, Herbal Essences, Chandon, and Miracle-Gro, with additional commercial placements for Boots, Colgate, Vodafone and more. A versatile composer with over 20 years’ experience, she thrives on close collaboration with artists and clients to craft distinctive, forward-thinking scores and sound worlds.

Her songwriting credits span BMG, Universal, Sony (Black Butter), Defected, Ninja Tune, Toolroom, and Warner, with collaborations alongside Tough Love, Mason, Kideko, Mark Knight, and Litek. Her work has been championed by BBC Radio 1, Capital, KISS, and Spotify, with multiple tracks surpassing a million streams.
